The world's largest commercial stable isotope laboratory, Isotech is known for high-precision isotope analysis and innovative sampling containers.

  • Responsible for all product quality issues, design changes, improvements and new designs. 
  • In 2013 Isotech's flagship product the IsoTube had failure rate of >3%. This was reduced to <.01% with the introduction of new pressure test equipment completely designed and built by me. 
  • Responsible for all manufacturing test and assembly equipment needs and issues. 
  • Worked with the IT Team to make all manufacturing activities documentation paperless.
  • Responsible for all manufacturing and supplier NCRs and CPARs

Beta-Tech, Inc.

July 1997 - April 2013

Successfully owned and operated for 16 years before joining Isotech Labs.    

  • Customers: Norfolk Southern, LabLogic, First Light USA, Isotech Labs, TK Custom and IN/US Systems. 
  • Worked with Norfolk Southern engineers to design a penalty brake controller as part of their PTC program. 
  • Capable of taking a customer's design form a sketch on a napkin to a complete product. 
  • Provided electronic circuit designs and PCB layouts and all documentation. 
  • Designed products for industrial, consumer, medical and laboratory use.

IN/US Systems now part of LabLogic

July 1990 - July 1997
Mechanical Designer

  IN/US Systems is a manufacturer of world class radio-chromatography instruments.  

  • Designed mechanical and electromechanical assemblies and components used in radio flow detectors for gas and HPLC chromatography. 
  • Set up, maintained and used the model shop to make prototype and low volume production parts. 
  • Responsible for supplier selection, supplier issues and supplier interface. 
  • Implemented part and assembly database that included ECN and NCR tracking. 
  • Responsible for all schematics, PCB layouts, part and assembly models and technical drawings.
